La centesima scimmia è il nuovo film documentario del filmmaker Marco Carlucci, realizzato con il contributo di economisti, scrittori, giornalisti, blogger, europarlamentari, giuristi, associazioni umanitarie ed i cittadini europei.
E’ il contro-racconto dell’attuale crisi finanziaria e sociale vista in un’ottica opposta a quella istituzionale, un punto di vista che mette in guardia la gente comune nei confronti della propaganda che da anni ripete il mantra di un prossimo miglioramento delle economie.

“La centesima scimmia” (the 100th monkey) is the Marco Carlucci’s new documentary film, realised with a great contribution of economists, writers, journalists, bloggers, European parliament members, lawyers, charities and European citizens.
It talks about the other side of the financial and social crisis nowadays, trying to see it in the opposite side of the institutional one. The point of view which reveals some truth and tries to warn common people of the electioneering which is still promising a future rising of the economy.
The video shows the citizen vision, together with the shocking declarations of experts and few European politicians who argue about the role of the Central European Bank (ECB) and the financial speculation with the banks’ complacency.
“La centesima scimmia” is a documentary without borders, which gives space and voice to: alternative theories of austerity dogma, the central role of Germany and the stifling economic recipes, enforced by government to citizens, as the only solution to sort out the problem of crisis.
The big problems as the loss of the job, of the house, of the personal dignity and of a possible future, together with a mix of strength and passion allow “La centesima scimmia” to show the Europe which belongs to people, who share the oppressive heel which is the heavy situation created by Finance, banks, hidden powers.
